Brilliant dance and well received but why has the obvious error in the script for the ending not been amended.

A really lovely country improver dance that was debuted at a KingsHill weekend in Liverpool. Derek ‘Magill’ Darby, the ever professional, had learned the song and everyone danced it Friday evening after Kim’s wonderful teach dancing to Derek singing it live. You just lose yourself in the music and steps. The track and voice by Zach Top is so good

Good dance to an old favourite. Not for everyone as directionally challenging in parts but thoroughly enjoyed by those who persevered.

Fabulous dance loved by all class. Fast paced but straightforward steps with lengthy but easy tag section. One of our current favourites.

Class loved this one. Don’t let the ‘advanced’ label put you off. It suits high improver upwards as all my class managed it very well. Fabulous beat to the track which helps the timing enormously.

Great dance and song. Quite fast which might be why it is classified as Intermediate but the steps are straight forward. Very enjoyable.

Such a fabulouse dance to this great hit from the 80’s. Danced this a couple of times in the Group and everyone loves it. Not very difficult - 3 restarts which is easy to spot. Assume this will be one of my favorite for a long time.

Taught today by request. Not an easy teach first time but I am sure it will get better.

Not my kind of music but a great easy and apt dance for the summer months when so many on holiday or away I know my classes will love it. It will bring back a lot of memories for many and always an easy teach if they know the lyrics.

I love the Ria Vos one to the same name but recognise its too hard for most of my dancers so pleased to see something easier as I know they will love the music. Similar tempo/music to Northbound Flame so nice and steady no difficult steps and oddly no tags or restarts? Presume this is deliberate just seems odd when so used to hearing the music. Will give it a go next week see if its a thumbs up.

Thanks to Lorna for posting a review on this I would have missed it. Perfect for the summer great beat easy steps with a good thump. Esmeralda must have a long kitchen though! Tiny steps needed for the ext vine. Like the chasse half turn hold to the right as most are to the left so good practice for the beginners. I think some hand movements of drinking wine might be in order too. WE LOVED IT!

I'll be adding this to my Absolute Beginner pile for future use when an influx of newbies arrive. Always handy to have new easy stuff in reserve 👌

Teaching this one this week. Catchy track, it helps that half of the choreography is described in the song saves me calling out the first half of the dance (stomp & twists, 4 back taps with a clap) 😂 Nothing to dislike in this dance. Well done!

I just love this 20 count AB dance which flows so well despite the straight forward steps. No tags or restarts but matches the music very well. Doesn't feel like the type of beginner dances I have seen recently but is more smooth and accomplished which may be enjoyed by more experienced dancers. Why not take a look, it may surprise you as it did me.

Sort of grows on you. Butterflys bit different with back steps all easy steps no tags or restarts nice easy summer dance.

Cup Of Joy .. just learn this no matter what level of dancer you are .. every now and then an easy dance comes along that is simple but simply hits the track and lyrics perfectly! Joyful to dance and the track happy but meaningful too so a winning combo!

A "Portland" never disappoints .. just the right combination of steps at just the right level to pull lots of dancers in hooked up to a catchy popular track with this Sweet Dreams track as no exception . arguably the BEST track of the 80's but in any case a gem of a dance and long may this be seen on a dance floor!
