What a fab. dance from Maggie & Chris Hodgson. A sure hit from these two great choreographers. Teaching it on forthcoming monday to class and know they will just love it. Not too difficult and has such a good feel to it as your dancing. Go on,and give it a try, you wont be disappointed.

Enjoyed by everyone today at the first teach, danced it twice which is always a good sign. Nothing too difficult, no tags or re-starts either. Can see this one being around for some time and being a top ten hit.

Love it and even better that there are no tags or restarts. I'm sure it will be a big hit as there is nothing too difficult and most dancers should be able to master it quite quickly.

this is really good nothing to difficult, so i taugh it late into my improver class the intermediate dancers joined in, floor was full and happy. some of the improver did turn the full tripple turn in sec 8 into a coater step. ( its very nice to see chris & maggie working together on this one ) smiles allround thankyou !!!

Taught this one in class and everyone enjoyed it, the lyrics are the same the tune is the same but it`s alot faster beat than the original by Steve Earl. Nothing difficult straight forward teach and also just to add this cannot be a floor split for the galway girls because it doesnt fit to this piece of music and this dance doesn`t fit to the original either so this dance stands on it`s own merit.

I'm sure this 64/2 Remixed of Galway Girls is going to be a hit for Chrissie & Maggie, Personally I wasn't stuck on Steve Earls version of Galway Girls and find the more updated version allot better, not just to dance to, but also to listen to. The more traditionalist will probably disagree. The dance is an easy teach and was enjoyed by most of the classes, with a mixed reception by some. Still worth a mention.
